Sup, for this blog post I wanted to talk about my favorite sport, baseball and some the greatest moments to come from the game after I was born (2004)
2014 Royals Postseason:
So I grew up in Kansas which automatically made me a Royals fan, like everybody else there. I grew up to a garbage Royals team that never made it into the playoffs until 2014. In 2014 the Royals had a great team that barely slipped their way into the playoffs. I went to the game at Kauffman and watched them come back in the end to win the game by a walk off by Salvador Perez. The Royals made their way into the World Series against the Giants where they lost in game 7 at home, which I also went to.
2015 Royals All Star Game:
2015 Royals World Series:
After the Royals postseason run in 2014, they were destined to be a great team in 2015. In June, the all star game voting was starting and we all wanted the Royals to be in it. My entire family voted twice and so did almost everybody else at my school, thanks to our teachers who told students to vote Royals every day at the end of class. The Royals ended up sending Alex Gordon, Salvador Perez, Alcides Escobar, Lorenzo Cain, Kelvin Herrera, Wade Davis, and Mike Moustakas which was pretty lit.

In 2015, the Royals won the world series against the Mets in 5 games and they had a parade in Kansas City that everybody went to. Even school was cancelled for us because barely anybody would go. We got to go on top of an apartment building that had a clear view of the parade and we got to celebrate the best world series victory ever.
Bartolo Colon hitting a homerun
In 2016, MLB was as normal, each team playing regular games, nothing special. And then, the greatest moment in the history of baseball happened on May 8th when pitcher Bartolo Colon stepped up to the plate in an away game against the Padres. The former all star James Shield was pitching. And then, out of nowhere, it happened. The goat Bartolo Colon smacked a dinger to left field for his first major league home run. The hit was all over social media and it was easily the greatest moment in baseball. history.https://www.mlb.com/video/must-c-colons-first-home-run/c-671207583 (MLB.com)
